This is a summary up to 7/28.

The marketing began after multiple signs like the one bellow were scattered around Comic Con.

This obviously led to D-9.com.

Once you go there, you are given 2 options; Human or Non-Human. If you click Human it takes you to a satilite image and small locations on which you can click. Then it tells you about an incident that took place there. If you click Non-Human, you must translate things by clicking the blue sound icon. Its the same thing as the Human, accept the incidents are different.

Once you enter (and for this I selected Human) you are shown the satellite image of “District 9″.

Once you fig-it around a bit, you can proceed to the next website which can be accessed by going to the upper-right ad that says “POWER THE EARTH – Join the cause!”. That takes you to MultiNationalUnited.com. Once you get there, a video plays, which tells you a bit about MNU and their services.

This website was made with great detail, as you will see. Going as far as creating jobs and advertisements. If you register your email on the homepage, you can access their privacy policy. By doing so, you are exposed to another website, which is MathsFromOuterSpace.com.

This website is made very simply and there is a test you can take. If you get all the answers right it takes you to a 404 Error screen. If you miss one, it says you are not qualified.

From grafiti found on D-9.com, the website MNUSpreadsLies.com can be seen. This website is written in all non-human language. There is a translation button. You can read through those.
